Welcome to Beach'N SF, a vibrant vegan haven situated at 4300 Judah St, San Francisco, CA, just a stone's throw from Ocean Beach. This charming café embraces the laid-back beach vibes of the area while offering an all-day breakfast menu that caters to lovers of plant-based cuisine.
At Beach'N SF, the menu is a celebration of flavor and creativity. You can start your day with the delicious Vegan Bronx Bagels adorned with creamy vegan spreads for just $4.00 or dive into the comforting Smothered HashCakes. The variations, including the “CheeZen” hash cakes topped with rich cashew cheese sauce and fragrant herbs, are a favorite among patrons as evident in the glowing reviews.
Many visitors, like Ishmael Rufus, have declared the French toast as a standout dish. With its crispy edges and refined sweetness, it turns breakfast into an indulgent experience. Daniela Lapidous also highlighted the gigantic breakfast burrito featuring a tofu scramble—perfect for sharing or a satisfying solo meal.
For those looking for lighter fare, the Caezar Salad and Rainbow Salad deliver fresh and vibrant ingredients, ideal for a rejuvenating lunch post-beach stroll. However, it's worth noting that some guests, like Colleen Filler, have expressed mixed feelings about recent changes in the Caesar salad recipe. Nevertheless, Beach'N SF remains a beloved comfort food destination.
The atmosphere is casual and inviting, with outdoor seating to enjoy sunny days—a feature appreciated by many customers. Mark Jewel describes it as a great spot near the beach that perfectly embodies the relaxed San Francisco spirit. The staff are noted for their warm, approachable demeanor, contributing to the overall delightful experience.

If you're in the area, this little gem is definitely worth stopping by for a meal that nourishes both body and soul.
“ The French toast makes this a must stop. Crispy edges, soft and not too oily. Also love a breakfast place that offers up a variety of fruit ”
“ Great vegan cafe near the beach. The breakfast burrito with tofu scramble is delicious, but rather large - I should have split it with my friend. Also got a side of French toast sticks which were amazing! ”
“ Love love love the mushroom onion hash cakes with cheese cheese sauce. They changed their Caesar salad which was pretty perfect before. They used to have croutons and when I ordered it today, it had a powdery spicy something that I didn't like. They remade it but said that's part of the croutons now. It's a bummer when places change what seemed perfect Still my favorite comfort food place ”
“ Great vegan restaurant near Ocean Beach. Inviting atmosphere and on a warm day nice outdoor seating ”
“ Beautiful little beach cafe with some definite hippie vibes. All vegan, plant based the food was delicious. Highly recommended. breakfast burrito is top. All the staff are very chill and down to earth. Love it. ”
“ Delicious and filling. Indoor and outdoor seating (or to-go). Actual coffee options (from lavender lattes to cold brew). This place is fantastic and gets pretty packed on the weekends—for a reason! ”
“ Good portions, had French toast which was thiccc and delicious also very filling, beach n' crunch wrap was good. The buffalo Mac N Cheezen was nice, it has a bit of a stronger sour/spicy flavor due to the buffalo sauce, great if you like buffalo sauce, it was also very filling. The crokie which is a chocolate chip cookie baked on top of a brownie was amazing, got it heated up and it tasted even better, not overly sweet, has a nice crispy layer with a cakey center. The sunset fog tea complemented the crokie well, it was not sweet at all, can definitely taste the rooibos, I got it with oatmilk. The blushing matcha was also nice and light. ”
“ Amazing cinnamon French toast sticks with maple syrup, breakfast burrito and crispy slightly tangy brussels sprouts. ”
